Urology

Maryland General Hospital's urologists diagnose and treat patients for disorders of the genitourinary system. Of particular interest to them is the medical and surgical treatment of prostate cancer. Upon examination and testing, they are able to determine whether a patient's symptoms are nonspecific and similar to those caused by benign conditions, or cancer.

As part of the program, Maryland General's Community Health Education Center offers screenings throughout the Baltimore area in order to diagnose prostate cancer in its earliest stages when treatment is most effective.

The doctors at Maryland General's Linden Medical Group provides care in this medical specialty.
